Requirements and Skills

  • WordPress Development: Designing, developing and maintaining WordPress websites, with use of plugins and themes, and customizations adhering to standards.
  • Front-End Skills: Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
  • Database: Basic knowledge of MySQL database is a must.
  • Performance Optimization: Expertise in ensuring high-performing, SEO-friendly, and user-centric websites. Implement SEO best practices.
  • Debugging and Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues, including plugin conflicts and website errors.
  • Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, and version control systems like Git.
  • Website Security: Knowledge of best practices to secure WordPress websites and ensure GDPR compliance.
  • Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure consistent performance across all major browsers and devices.
  • Collaborating: Working with UI/UX designers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and align web applications with business goals.
